The 17-year-old put on a scintillating display for Dortmund in the quarter-finals against Manchester City.
Manchester City got the better of Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League quarter-finals, winning both the legs and progressing to the semi-finals on the aggregate score of 4-2.
However, one of the things Dortmund can still feel happy about after the defeat is the incredible performance of teenage midfielder Jude Bellingham.
The 17-year-old scored the only goal for Die Borussen in the second leg, beating the top-class goalkeeper Ederson.
His performance even led to praise from Man City manager Pep Guardiola, with the Spanish boss calling Bellingham too good for his age.
Guardiola said: “I cannot believe it, maybe he’s a liar! He’s so good for 17-years-old; he’s a fantastic player.”

Born in Stourbridge, West Midlands, Bellingham spent his youth career at Birmingham City. His talent was soon recognised, and he made it to the first team in the 2019/20 season. In his debut campaign, the English teenager exceeded the expectation, and as a result, he was subject to the interest of Europe’s top clubs by the end of the season.
With the clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal battling for his signature, Bellingham eventually chose Dortmund and sealed his transfer last summer for an alleged fee worth £25m plus bonuses.
In his debut season in the Bundesliga, Bellingham became a revelation for Dortmund after etching his place in the starting eleven. He has made 39 appearances in all competitions. To add a cherry on the cake, his seminal performances for Dortmund led to a call up from England manager Gareth Southgate, and he has now racked up two international caps.

Bellingham became the youngest English player to score in the Champions League history, and he achieved a similar feat in Bundesliga days prior.
The teenage sensation also became the second-youngest player to score in the history of Champions League knockouts, only former Barcelona player Bojan Krkic ahead of him.
Bellingham also achieved a unique feat during the game against Man City as he became the second player in the history of UCL to rack up 10 appearances before turning 18, with Leicester’s Youri Tielemans being the first player to do so.
