Paris Saint-Germain attacker Kylian Mbappe has been heavily linked with a move away from the club this summer.

Apparently, Real Madrid are interested in signing the World Cup winner, but his departure could be complicated because of a number of reasons.

Club president Nasser Al Khelaifi recently revealed that the French outfit will not sell Mbappe this summer. He also added that the club wouldn’t consider letting him leave on a free transfer next year. It seems that PSG are confident of tying him down to a new deal.

Furthermore, another reason could be the promise made to Neymar.

Apparently, the Brazilian put forward a condition before signing the new deal with Paris Saint Germain that Kylian Mbappe will be kept at the club next season under all circumstances.

Mbappe is one of the best players in the world, and it is no surprise that the club and his teammates are keen for him to stay beyond this summer.

PSG have put together an ambitious squad capable of challenging for the major trophies every season, and it will be interesting to see if Neymar and Mbappe can guide them to Champions League glory next year.

The PSG project has been built around Neymar and Mbappe. Losing the Frenchman this summer would be a damaging blow to the club’s ambitions, and it seems that the player’s suitors will have to wait a little longer to secure his services.

It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds over the next few months.
