Arsenal are interested in signing the Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez this summer and they are prepared to offer Hector Bellerin in part exchange for the Argentine international.
According to reports, the Gunners will not be able to match Inter Milan’s £75 million asking price for the striker and they are looking to bring down the fee by offering Bellerin as a part of a player plus cash bid.
Inter Milan could definitely use a quality right back next season after selling Achraf Hakimi to Paris Saint Germain and the Spaniard could prove to be a superb addition.
The 26-year-old defender is at the peak of his powers right now and he could be the ideal replacement for the Moroccan defender next season.
Meanwhile, Arsenal need to improve their attacking options if they want to get back into the Champions League positions and Lautaro Martinez could prove to be a superb acquisition for them.
The 23-year-old is already a top-class player and he is yet to reach his peak. Even though he might cost a premium this summer, the player has the potential to justify the outlay in future.
It will be interesting to see if the Premier League side can convince the striker to join them.
Apparently, Lautaro Martinez is keen on a move to the top three teams in Spain and Arsenal might not be an appealing proposition for him.
Furthermore, the Gunners will not be able to offer him Champions League football and that could be a stumbling block in their pursuit of the 23-year-old.
