Bayern Munich keen on 14-goal forward Reyes Cleary

Bayern Munich and Bundesliga clubs resume training

German giants Bayern Munich have been linked with a move for the West Bromwich Albion attacker Reyes Cleary.

According to Daily Mail, the Bundesliga champions have watched the 17-year-old striker in action against Stoke City last month and their scouts are set to run the rule over the young forward again this season.

Cleary has been in exceptional form this season for West Brom’s under-23 side and he has scored 14 goals in 12 games so far.

There is no doubt that the 17-year-old has tremendous potential and he could develop into a quality footballer in the future.

Bayern Munich have a knack of snapping up talented young footballers and their interest in Cleary is hardly a surprise.

According to Daily Mail, the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Crystal Palace and Schalke are keen on signing the youngster as well.

Cleary needs to join a club where he can play regular football and continue his development.  It will be interesting to see if the player is keen on a move to Bayern Munich in the near future.

Apparently, the Championship club would like to tie him down to a professional contract soon and it remains to be seen how the situation unfolds over the next few months.

Bayern Munich have a track record of helping talented young players develop into quality first team footballers and the West Brom youngster will certainly be tempted to join the German giants if a concrete offer is presented on the table.

If the German outfit can provide him with a clear pathway to the first team over the next few seasons there is no reason why the 17-year-old would not be keen on a move to Bavaria in the coming months.
