Bayern update: Bayern interested in Napoli duo, shocking revelation over Sarr signing

Koulibaly-Napoli

Bayern tracking Koulibaly and Maksimovic?

Bayern Munich are reportedly after Napoli duo Kalidou Koulibaly and Nikola Maksimovic.

Koulibaly, 29, attracted interests from Europe’s top clubs last summer but the interests have withered over the course.

None of the European giants were able to sign the Senegalese international due to the financial crisis caused by the pandemic and at the same time, Napoli president set his value around a whopping €100m.

Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United were touted to be the potential suitors for the Senegalese international however financial depravity proved to be a stumbling block for them.

Bayern are not willing to spend more than €45m for Koulibaly citing the current circumstances.

Having already added young defender Dayot Upamecano to their ranks, it remains to be seen how far Bayern would go after Koulibaly.

Bouna Sarr transfer confusion.

A shocking report has emerged regarding Bouna Sarr that the full-back wasn’t signed on the consensus of Bayern front and they don’t want to be responsible. Perhaps, it has been said that Sarr was signed only on the recommendation of Bayern’s chief scout in France Laurent Busser.

Sarr joined the Bavarians on the deadline day of the transfer window last summer.

The 29-year-old has only made four appearances in the Bundesliga this season and is currently behind Benjamin Pavard and Niklas Sule in the pecking order of Hansi Flick.
