Borussia Monchengladbach
Borussia Monchengladbach will look to get their first win in four league games when they welcome RB Leipzig to Borussia park on Saturday.
The hosts come into this match without a win in their last three league games (D2, L1) following a goalless draw with Freiburg last weekend.
For a team that was as recent as Match Day three sitting joint top of the league standings, a return of two points from the last available nine does not show ambition. However, with just one defeat to their name after six rounds of Bundesliga action this season, they may be quietly content with their start to the campaign.
But having scored just one goal across their three outings, new boss Daniel Farke will have to be on his watch to immediately sort out his side’s scoring problems.
At the back, they have conceded just five goals. But the loss of the influential Ko Itakura for the rest of 2022 will be a big chink in Farke’s armour as the Japanese international has been integral to their early success. Losing such a key defensive player before the visit of Leipzig, against whom Gladbach have kept just one home clean sheet in six tries, certainly isn’t ideal timing.
However, with consecutive home head-to-head wins, Farke’s side should still be confident of securing a fifth win in six Bundesliga home outings (L1).
Possible Borussia Mönchengladbach starting line-up

RB Leipzig
RB Leipzig will look to make it two wins in two league games when they visit Borussia Park on Saturday.
The visitors began life under Marco Rose with a comfortable 3-0 win over Borussia Dortmund last week. However, they followed up that win with a 2-0 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday, taking their number of losses for the season to five in all competitions.
While it is still early days to judge how good Rose is, the former Gladbach coach will be desperate to avoid another poor result in this game to keep the goodwill he is currently enjoying at his new club.
Given that his side have lost each of their last two visits to Borussia Park, he will have to devise a special plan to beat his former side.
Possible RB Leipzig starting line-up
Peter Gulacsi; Mohamed Simakan, Willi Orban, Abdou Diallo; Kevin Kampl, Xaver Schlager, Emil Forsberg, Dominik Szoboszlai, David Raum; Christopher Nkunku; Timo Werner
Injured: Konrad Laimer, Dani Olmo, Lukas Klostermann
Doubtful: None
