Frankfurt picked up a 2-0 win over Cologne in the Bundesliga earlier tonight.

Portuguese international Andre Silva scored the opening goal of the game on the 57th minute and Evan N’Dicka wrapped up the scoring on the 79th minute for the home side.

Frankfurt are third in the League table right now and they will be hoping to climb further up the table in the coming weeks.

Andre Silva has been in spectacular form this season and it is no surprise that he managed to get on the scoresheet tonight. It was his 18th League goal of the season.

Meanwhile, Cologne have 21 points from 21 matches and they are just four points clear of the drop zone.

The fans will be expecting a strong reaction from the players in the coming weeks and it remains to be seen if Cologne can improve on their performances.

Frankfurt were dominant from start to finish and they could have easily scored more goals in the first half.

The likes of Silva and Kamada had several chances to score but they feel to find the net.

Frankfurt have made an impressive start to the season so far but they will have to improve in the final third if they want to finish ahead of the likes of Dortmund and Leverkusen.

Meanwhile, Cologne will be under pressure after the defeat and it remains to be seen if they can beat the drop this season.
