Paris Saint-Germain continued their impressive summer transfer window with the signing of the Italian international Gianluigi Donnarumma.

According to Sky Sports, the 22-year-old goalkeeper has signed a five-year contract with the Ligue 1 outfit after leaving AC Milan on a free transfer.

The Italian was unable to agree on an extension with Milan, and his deal ran out on the 30th of June.

Donnarumma is one of the best keepers globally, and signing him on a free transfer is exceptional business from PSG.

The French outfit have been outstanding in the transfer market so far, and they have brought in three quality free transfers so far. Georginio Wijnaldum and Sergio Ramos have signed for them recently.

Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping to challenge for the Champions League this season and win the French league.

PSG needed proper reinforcements to challenge in both competitions, and they have already managed to bring in a few top-class players. Former Inter Milan defender Achraf Hakimi has also signed for them.

Donnarumma is only 22, and he could sort out PSG’s goal-keeping position for the next decade.

The former Milan goalkeeper is already a regular for his country, and he helped them win the European Championships this summer. The youngster scooped up the player of the tournament award with his performances, and PSG are getting a massive bargain.
