Liverpool winger Sadio Mane has been linked with a move away from Anfield at the end of this season.
The 30 year old Senegalese international has just one year left on his current contract and the player is reportedly open to a new challenge.
According to a report via GFFN, Bayern Munch are set to sign the player for a fee of around €30m.
Mane has been a key player for Liverpool since joining the club from Southampton and his departure will come as a major blow for the Reds.
The 30-year-old has been one of Jurgen Klopp’s best players this season and he would be a quality addition for the German club.
The likes of Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry are set to leave Bayern Munich this summer and Mane is reportedly being eyed as an alternative.
Apparently, the Bayern Munich director Hasan Salihamidzic has met with the Liverpool player’s representatives and the player is open to joining the Bavarian club.
It will be interesting to see how Liverpool replace the 30-year-old next season. The Reds have already signed Luis Diaz from Porto, who plays in a similar position.
However, the Colombian is not s proven goalscorer and Klopp will have to bring in someone who can replace Mane’s goals.
Furthermore, the 30-year-old is a big game player who has scored vital goals for the club.
As for the player, he has proven himself in the Premier League with Liverpool and Southampton. He will be hoping to showcase his skills in the Bundesliga now.
The reported €30m fee could prove to be a bargain for Bayern Munich if Mane manages to adapt to German football quickly.
