Barcelona host Real Madrid in the El Clasico later today.

The fixture has certainly lost a lot of glamour after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi from the respective clubs but Sunday’s clash is certainly an exhibition for the several world-class talents who are destined to be future superstars in La Liga.

Barcelona will be able to field world-class talents like Sergio Dest, Pedri and Ansu Fati and Real Madrid will call upon the likes of Vinicius junior.

It’s important to note that both sides have struggled in recent weeks and but that does not mean the derby will not be a spectacular contest.

The likes of Fati and Vinicius have displayed impressive form in recent outings and the two youngsters have the capability to light up the contest with their individual bravura.

While the fixture might be lacking the hype and glamour of the yesteryears, there is a lot of hope that the young talents on the pitch could turn it into a spectacle.

Real Madrid will be hoping to close in on the top spot with a win here and a derby victory could give them an immense morale boost.

Similarly, Barcelona will be hoping to establish their title credentials with a win over their bitter rivals.

The Catalan giants have started the season in mediocre form and this is a golden opportunity for them to turn a corner.

Furthermore, this is a massive fixture for manager Ronald Koeman as well who is struggling to convince the people around the club that he is the right man to lead Barcelona.

A lot is at stake for both clubs here and a win could be a game changer for either club.
