Real Madrid confident of beating Liverpool to the signature of Jude Bellingham

Real Madrid are reportedly confident of beating Liverpool and Manchester City to the signing of Borussia Dortmund sensation Jude Bellingham.

The 19-year-old Englishman is currently one of the most sought-after players in the world after a stellar campaign with Dortmund and England in the World Cup.

He has drawn the notice of European giants like Real, Liverpool, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs despite being worth over £100million.

Liverpool were considered ahead of the rest in the race for Bellingham due to his parents’ love for Jürgen Klopp and the Merseyside club.

However, new reports from The Sun have claimed that Spanish giants Real Madrid have pulled ahead of the Premier League side in the race for his signature. According to the report, Carlo Ancelotti’s side are growing increasingly confident of enticing the midfielder to the Spanish capital in the summer of 2023.

Bellingham has been attracted by the prospect of becoming an icon for one of the game’s historically biggest clubs and is tilting towards a move to the Bernabéu.

Ancelotti’s side are looking to build their midfield around young players, having already acquired the services of Aurelien Tchoumeni and Eduardo Camavinga.

They also boast the service of Fede Valverde, who is also in his early 20s. Playing alongside these young players is an exciting opportunity for Bellingham.

However, nothing is signed yet, and there is still a big chance that Bellingham’s future might lie elsewhere, especially at Liverpool, who are particularly keen to land his services to reinvent their stale midfield.

The Reds’ midfield has been a problem area for some time, and Bellingham would bring the energy and dynamism that have plagued the Anfield of kate.

Bellingham joined Dortmund in 2020 for a £ 30 million fee from Birmingham. Since then, he has racked up an impressive 112 appearances, scoring 21 goals and assisting 19.
