Real Madrid plotting Hazard-Salah swap deal

Mohamed Salah-Liverpool

Los Blancos have identified Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah as a potential target.

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been in blistering form this season and it has caught the attention of Real Madrid.

According to the Daily Mail, the Spanish giants are plotting a move for Salah next summer and they are ready to offer Eden Hazard in a player-plus-cash deal.

Hazard has endured a frustrating spell since moving from Chelsea to Bernabeu and Los Blancos are now ready to cut ties with him.

They are now planning to use the Belgian forward as a makeweight to prise Salah from Anfield.

The Reds are yet to tie down the Egyptian ace to a new contract as they are pondering over his demands. It has been reported recently that Salah wants to be the Reds’ highest-paid player surpassing Virgil van Dijk.

The Merseyside are keen to continue with the 29-year-old, whose current deal expires in the summer of 2023.

On the other hand, Real are poised for a productive transfer window next summer, with Erling Haaland Kylian Mbappe being shortlisted as potential Galactico signings.

Los Blancos were keen on signing Mbappe from PSG in the final week of the summer transfer window but their efforts went in vain.

The French World Cup winner’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires next summer and Madrid are hoping to reach a pre-agreement in January.

Salah would be a dream signing for the La Liga giants and him, Karim Benzema and Vinicius Jr in the attack would be a scary prospect for the opponents.

However, it remains to be seen whether Madrid can lure Salah away from the grabs of Liverpool.
