Real Madrid prepared to bid €120m for Kylian Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe-PSG

Real Madrid have been linked with a move for Kylian Mbappe for months now and it seems that the La Liga giants are prepared to make their first move to sign the Paris Saint-Germain attacker.

According to reports, they are now looking to send their first offer to the French club for the 22-year-old World Cup winner.

The bid is thought to be in the region of around €120 million.

Mbappe will be a free agent next summer when his contract expires with the French outfit and Real Madrid are hoping that PSG will be forced to cash in on the player instead of losing him on a free transfer at the end of the season.

The report adds that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi believes that Mbappe will sign an extension with the club but Real Madrid are prepared to test the waters with a significant offer.

According to reports earlier this summer, the player is keen on leaving Paris Saint Germain and he has already communicated his exit desire to the club hierarchy.

It will be interesting to see if PSG are prepared to consider the offer from Real Madrid when it is presented.

Mbappe is one of the best players in the world and it is understandable why the French outfit do not want to sell him.

However, it would be foolish of them to hold on to the player if he refuses to sign an extension.

Losing a player of his calibre on a free transfer next summer would be a devastating blow and PSG must look to choose the financially viable option and let the player leave in exchange for cash this summer.
