Antoine Griezmann has had a tough time at Barcelona so far.
He hasn’t been a regular starter for Setien’s side and whenever he has been given the opportunity to perform, he has struggled.
The former Atletico Madrid star has been a flop so far and the Catalan giants could look to cash in on him this summer.
As per reports, he could join Arsenal or Inter Milan when the window opens.
It will be interesting to see where he ends up. The World Cup winner is a top-class player and he just needs to regain his confidence.
A move away from Barcelona would be ideal for him.
Arsenal need attacking depth and he could be ideal for them. However, they cannot offer him Champions League football and that could complicate matters.
A player of Griezmann’s caliber would want to play regular Champions League football.
As far as Inter Milan are concerned, they would have to sell Lautaro Martinez to fund a deal for the Frenchman.
Barcelona have been linked with Lautaro and it will be interesting to see if the two clubs can work out a deal involving the two forwards.
Recently, Setien also admitted that it is tough to accommodate the Frenchman into his side without disrupting the balance.
He said: “It’s difficult to put him on without destabilising the team. I understand it’s tough for Griezmann to come on when so little time left. I will speak with him tomorrow [Wednesday], I won’t say sorry because [it’s about] decisions. But I understand he may feel bad and I feel bad for him because he’s a great person and professional.”
