The Napoli ace has been gaining interest after an impressive European Championship campaign.

Lorenzo Insigne has been excellent for Italy in Euro 2020, putting on some eye-catching displays.

The Napoli forward has scored two goals in the tournament so far, including a belter of a goal against Belgium in the quarter-finals.

Now his scintillating displays have caught the eyes of Europe’s top clubs, especially Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur.

According to ESPN, Barcelona and Spurs have contacted Insigne’s agent regarding a potential summer move.

The 30-year-old has his contract running until 2022. He looks to have no plans in extending his deal with his boyhood club as the parties disagree on the terms.

Tottenham are set for a brand new season under new manager Nuno Santo, and they are planning for attacking reinforcements.

Elsewhere, Barca are trying to get rid of as many players to balance their wage bill so they can make room for new signings.

Nicknamed Magnifico II, Insigne has been one of Italy’s best forwards over the course; however, the last few seasons are turning out to be more productive.

Under Gennaro Gattuso, Insigne managed to rack up a total of 19 goals and 11 assists in Serie A – arguably his best season yet with Partenopei. Furthermore, Italy national team manager Roberto Mancini is benefiting from Insigne’s rich vein of form.

The Partenopei have a new manager in Luciano Spalletti, and Insigne is said to be not happy with Gattuso’s departure.

Insigne’s focus will be on winning European Championship as Italy are set to face England in the finals at Wembley.
