Joe Gomez on Ancelotti’s radar

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing the Liverpool defender Joe Gomez.

The 24-year-old has fallen down the pecking order since the return of Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip from injury.

Furthermore, the signing of Ibrahima Konate has also eaten into his playing time this season.

According to Daily Mail, the Spanish giants want to improve their defensive options and they are keeping tabs on the 24-year-old Liverpool player.

It will be interesting to see if Real Madrid decide to make a move for him at the end of this season.

Gomez needs to play regularly at this stage of his career and if Liverpool cannot provide him with that platform, it would be wise of him to move on.

The Spanish giants have lost the likes of Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos at the start of the season and they will need to sign a couple of quality centre backs soon.

Gomez has shown his quality with Liverpool in the past and he could be an asset for Real Madrid if he manages to overcome his injury problems.

Real Madrid eyeing Coman move

Meanwhile, the Spanish giants are thought to be keen on signing the Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman as well.

The Frenchman is nearing the end of his contract and the German outfit have not managed to agree on an extension with him yet.

The likes of Barcelona and Manchester United are keen on signing the player as well and it will be interesting to see if Real Madrid can secure his services this summer.

The Spanish giants did well to snap up David Alaba from Bayern Munich at the start of the season and Coman could prove to be a useful asset for them for a reasonable price as well.

The French winger has shown his prodigious talent with Bayern Munich over the years and he could prove to be a quality signing for Barcelona and Manchester United as well.

Mundo Deportivo seem to believe that the Frenchman will be on the move soon and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.
