Atletico Madrid have kept their winning momentum intact after defeating dark horses Real Sociedad 2-0 away.

And Atletico put the game to bed after Marcos Llorente doubled the lead with a thunderous strike from his left-foot. The Spaniard has now already five goals and two assists in La Liga this season and his importance to the side has been overwhelming.
Diego Simeone has now produced back to back comprehensive wins to move away from the defeat against local rivals Real Madrid. Last week, Atletico beat Elche at home as Luis Suarez scored a double.
Atletico are at the top of the league table, three points clear of their rivals Madrid while Sociedad are third.
The recent form of Sociedad has been a concern after failing to win any of their last nine games in all competitions including three straight defeats.
Atletico’s next opponents will be Getafe, who have also earned the reputation for overwhelming the opponents with an unplayable defence. The contest will be one to watch out for.
