Levy decision on Mourinho future, Bayern keen on 28-yr-old Spurs star

Mourinho during United vs Spurs match

Mourinho will be given another year

Tottenham have had a mediocre season under Jose Mourinho this year and the Portuguese manager was expected the challenge for the top honours after the considerable backing he received in the transfer market.

The Londoners are currently fighting for a place in the top four and they have been very disappointing in the European competitions.

According to reports, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is willing to give Mourinho another chance to turn it around at the London club and the manager is likely to stay for another year regardless of what happens this season.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can finish the season strongly. The League Cup is their best opportunity to win a trophy and it remains to be seen whether Mourinho can end their quest for silverware this season.

Bayern keen on Son

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are keen on the Spurs star Son Heung-Min and the German outfit are ready to make the most of the South Korean’s contract situation at Tottenham.

According to reports, the Tottenham star was offered a five-year contract before Christmas but the Coronavirus pandemic resulted in the talks being halted and the 28-year-old has not signed his extension with the Premier League club yet.

The player has two years left on his current contract and it will be interesting to see if Spurs can tie him down to a long term deal by the time the season ends.

Son is one of the best players in the Premier League and Tottenham cannot afford to lose him.

As for Bayern Munich, it would be a sensational coup for them if they managed to sign the 28-year-old Premier League star.
