Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid.

The player was a huge success in the Premier League with Chelsea and it seems that a return to England could be on the cards this summer.

Jose Mourinho signed the player for the Blues and Costa could be a useful player for Mourinho once again at Tottenham.

The Londoners need to add more depth to their attack and signing another quality striker should be top priority for them this summer.

Tottenham struggled to score goals during Harry Kane’s injuries last season Jose Mourinho needs to add some depth to that position before the new season starts.

Having said that, Diego Costa is 31 years old and he is past his peak. Tottenham should look to bring in someone younger with higher potential.

It will be interesting to see where Diego Costa ends up this summer. A move to Spurs would certainly be a good option for him but the Londoners can do better.

Costa needs to join a club where he can play regularly and he needs to move to a league where the intensity is less compared to that of the Premier League.

A move to Italy could be ideal for the Spanish international this summer.

For a reasonable price, Costa could prove to be a useful option for a midtable club next season.

As for Tottenham, they have been linked with Callum Wilson as well this summer and he would be a much better option for them.
