Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer.
According to a report from L’Equipe, the England international is a target for Paris Saint-Germain and the French club has already held talks with the player’s representatives recently.

It is further being reported that the player is open to the idea of joining the French club this summer and it remains to be seen whether the two clubs can now agree on a reasonable fee.

PSG are hoping to strengthen their attacking department and Rashford could prove to be a quality long-term addition. The Manchester United forward can operate as a striker as well as a wide forward. His versatility will be an added bonus.

The 24-year-old had a difficult season last year and he struggled to hit top form with Manchester United. A fresh start at PSG could help him regain his confidence.

However, Manchester United are already lacking in quality attackers and the departure of Rashford this late in the window could come as a massive blow for the Red Devils. Cristiano Ronaldo is already angling for a move away from Manchester United and the Premier League side cannot risk weakening their attack with so little time to find a replacement.

Prior to last season, Rashford was a key player for the Red Devils and he is widely regarded as one of the finest prospects to have come out of the Manchester United academy in recent years. There is no doubt that he is quite young and has a lot of room for improvement.

Manchester United must do everything in their power to hold on to him for the long run.

Manager Erik Ten Hag can help the young forward regain his form and fulfil his tremendous potential at Old Trafford.
