Antonio Rudiger wants Real Madrid move, contract offered by PSG as well

Rudiger-Chelsea

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has been linked with a move away from the London club for months now.

The 28-year-old will be out of contract at Stamford Bridge at the end of this season, and he has made it known that he would prefer a move to Real Madrid over Paris Saint-Germain.

According to a report from Football London, PSG have offered the player a contract worth around £6 million per season.

The 28-year-old has developed into one of the best defenders in the Premier League over the past year, and he would be a quality acquisition for PSG or Real Madrid if they manage to snap him up on a free transfer at the end of the season.

The German international has reportedly refused to sign a contract at Stamford Bridge after the Blues offered him wages of around £140,000 a week.

Apparently, Rudiger is demanding wages of around £200,000 a week in order to sign a new deal with the Blues.

Losing Rudiger would be a devastating blow for Chelsea defensively, and it will be interesting to see how they cope with his exit at the end of this season.

Defender Andreas Christensen is nearing the end of his deal at Stamford Bridge as well, and the Danish international is expected to move on in the summer.

With the likes of Cesar Azpilicueta and Thiago Silva on the decline, Chelsea might need to revamp their defensive unit completely and bring in more than one quality defender at the end of this season.

According to a report from Footmercato, Real Madrid have also offered the player a contract, but it is lower than that of what PSG are willing to offer.

However, the German still prefers a move to Santiago Bernabeu, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up this summer.
