Brazilian superstar Neymar’s eye-watering contract with Paris Saint-Germain has been revealed now.
According to reports, Neymar has cost the French club more than €489 million since he joined.
Currently, the Brazilian has a gross annual wage of around £37 million and it will rise to £43 million from next season.
The 29-year-old recently signed a long term contract with Paris Saint-Germain and he is set to receive a bumper pay rise.
Furthermore, the attacker is paid a handsome ethical bonus for being courteous, punctual, friendly and available to the fans.
The bonus amounts to £5.6 million per year and Neymar has to fulfil certain conditions in order to earn that.
Apparently, he has to greet the fans before and after each game and it also requires him to abstain from any negative comments made about the team’s tactical choices.
The former Barcelona player joined Paris Saint-Germain in a world record £200 million deal back in 2017 he has been outstanding for the Ligue 1 outfit so far.
Neymar has scored 87 goals in 117 games for the French outfit and he has picked up 52 assists along the way.
The Brazilian has helped his club win multiple league titles and domestic trophies and he will be hoping to lead them to Champions League glory this season.
Paris Saint-Germain have come close to winning the Champions League in the past and they will be hoping that their mercurial front three can fire them to European glory this year.
The French outfit already had two world-class players like Neymar and Kylian Mbappe at their disposal and they have managed to add Lionel Messi to that.
