Manchester United are looking to promoted Hannibal Mejbri next season.
The youngster signed for the Red Devils from Monaco last year for a fee of around £9million.
Although he has been playing at the youth level since joining, he has impressed Solskjaer thoroughly.
The youngster has shown that he is ready to make the step up to the first team. The 17-year-old is too good for the youth level right now and he needs a new challenge.
The midfielder could become a part of United’s first team squad next season. Training with the first team players will help him learn and improve as a player.
Furthermore, he could appear in the cup games and as a substitute next season.
It will be interesting to see how he performs if he is promoted to the first team.
Mejbri will be hoping to establish himself as a first teamer soon and he will be delighted to see Solskjaer’s faith in him.
Manchester United have a great record of promoting young players over the years and Mejbri could turn into a star for them as well with the right coaching.
Former club legends like Rooney, Beckham, Scholes and Giggs all started as youngsters and grew into world class stars at Old Trafford and Mejbri will be hoping to follow in their footsteps.
The decision to promoted Mejbri could end up saving United millions as well. If he manages to adapt to the level, he would add depth to Solskjaer’s squad and that would mean that the Old Trafford giants need to sign one less player.
