Paul Pogba to get attacking role ahead of playmaker Bruno Fernandez

Manchester United have suffered a massive blow, that could plunged them into a potential crisis after Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba both were both injured in a training ground collision.

Manchester United will meet Bournemouth at Old Trafford and the due would be doubtful for the clash. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is chasing top-four honour in Premier League and now, he may have to rejig his strategy differently, though for a short term basis. Red Devils have to also plan for Europa League and FA Cup during current season. 

It was reported as accidental clash as the Frenchman ran into Bruno Fernandez as team was undergoing training session in Carrington with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær.

United refused to comment on the situation that could certainly have some adverse effect on Solskjaer’s team selection with the game against the Bournemouth in less than 24 hours. The Cherries, who are currently placed at 19th place, would do anything for their survival as they have six matches in current campaign.

Hopefully the injuries are not significant, but both men were taken away for treatment as the Portuguese appeared to have worse affected between the duo.

Manchester United is currently at fifth spot as they have shown massive improvement and have not conceded a defeat for longest duration in current seasons. Pogba and Fernandes combined impressively as United beat Brighton 3-0 on Tuesday to extend their unbeaten run to 15 games. 

They were in right position to claim for a direct berth in Champions league as Chelsea is only two points above in points table. This blow could not have come at a worse time for them with six matcdays remaining in Premier League.

Fernandes, a £47million signing from Sporting Lisbon in January, continued his impressive form with a double at the Amex Stadium.

And the Portuguese’s arrival at the club has also sparked Pogba into life after a season spent battling an ankle injury that required surgery.

Solskjaer has been nursing the French World Cup winner back into his team since the season resumed.

Pogba and Fernandes linked up impressively as United thumped Brighton 3-0 on Tuesday to extend their unbeaten run to 15 games.
