Could Liverpool still miss the Premier League Title?

Liverpool are only have reportedly been given ‘no guarantees’ they will be awarded the Premier League title if the coronavirus crisis curtails the league, as reported by English Media.

As the virus that is spreading at an alarming rate across the globe, in case of any outbreak, there is no regulation in place for such a scenario in the Premier League should the campaign be cut short.

As well as Liverpool not being assured of the title, it would also mean the bottom three clubs may escape relegation from the top flight depending on the outcome of likely crisis talks.

UEFA have admitted they are in a sense of limbo over Euro 2020 which is set to be held in a host of cities across the continent.
