Manchester United come from behind to secure a convincing 4-1 win over Newcastle

Manchester United picked up a 4-1 win over Newcastle in the Premier League earlier today at St James’ Park.

Luke Shaw gave the home side an early lead with an own goal. Manchester United defender Harry Maguire headed in the equalizer for the away side.

The Red Devils did well to put pressure on Newcastle throughout the game and they deserved their lead when Bruno Fernandes finished off an outstanding team move on the 86th minute.

Fullback Aaron Wan-Bissaka put Manchester United 3-1 ahead in injury time and Marcus Rashford wrapped up the scoring with the fourth goal of the game for Manchester United.

The Premier League giants will be delighted with their performance away from home and it will be interesting to see how Steve Bruce reacts to his team’s performance today.

Newcastle were quite poor throughout the ninety minutes and they deserved to lose the game.

Manchester United will be hoping to challenge for the League title this year and they need to win games like these in order to match up to the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.

Newcastle are a quality side, especially at home and Manchester United, will be reasonably pleased with the result here.
