Arsenal picked up a 2-1 win over Sheffield United in the Premier League earlier today at Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners have been in impressive form over the last few weeks and they managed to beat Liverpool in their last outing.
Mikel Arteta will be thoroughly pleased with his team’s performance against Sheffield and Arsenal will be hoping to build on this impressive start of the season and put together a winning run now.
The likes of Saka and Pepe scored around the hour mark to secure the three points for the London club.
It will be interesting to see if Arsenal can secure a Champions League qualification this season after the kind of start they’ve had.
Sheffield United scored a consolation goal towards the end of the game.
Arsenal were the better team throughout the 90 minutes and they deserved to pick up the three points in the end.
The Londoners are still trying to improve their midfield options before the transfer window closes and it will be interesting to see if they can sign the likes of Houssem Aouar and Thomas Partey.
As for Sheffield, they are a good team but there were severe underdogs heading into the game and Chris Wilder cannot complain about the result here.
Sheffield United secured a respectable finish in the Premier League last year and they will have to improve their attacking options in order to do so once again.
They managed to sign Rhian Brewster from Liverpool earlier this week and it will be interesting to see how the young striker performs the season.
