Arsenal are plotting for a major squad overhaul at the end of this season, and Mikel Arteta has already lined up multiple targets to improve his squad.

According to a report from The Athletic, the Arsenal manager is keen on signing the Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin to replace the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

The Everton striker has been in exceptional form over the past year, and he could prove to be a sensational long term acquisition for the Gunners.

Arsenal need to bring in a reliable goal scorer, and the 24-year-old England international has already proven his quality in the Premier League.

Calvert-Lewin will want to play for a top club soon, and a move to Arsenal could be the ideal step up for him.

Everton are going through a rough patch right now, and they are unlikely to be able to qualify for any European competition this season.

Players like Calvert-Lewin will be determined to play at a higher level, and it remains to be seen whether the Gunners can snap him up at the end of this season.

The striker is expected to cost around £60 million.

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves is a target for the Gunners as well, and it remains to be seen whether they can agree on a deal with the Molineux outfit for the Portuguese international.

Neves has been highly impressive for Wolves since joining the club, and he could add a new dimension to the Arsenal midfield.

The Portuguese midfielder is an excellent passer, and he’s lethal from the long-range with his shooting.

The midfielder will help the Gunners control the tempo of the play and chip in with goals from the midfield.

Arsenal need to bring in an upgrade on the likes of Mohamed Elneny and Granit Xhaka, and Arteta is keeping tabs on the Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz as well.
