Lacazette wanted by four clubs
Lacazette will be a free agent at the end of next season and Arsenal need to sell him this summer in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
Apparently, Inter Milan, Roma, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are keen on signing the 29-year-old and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.
The Frenchman is a quality striker but he has failed to live up to the expectations since his move to the London club. Arsenal are better off cashing in on him and investing on another striker this summer.
The situation with Laca will get addressed in the summer. I will speak to him and just propose a future that we want and that’s it. Now I just want players focused only on performing and getting the best out of them for the team.Mikel Arteta on Alex Lacazette’s contract
Hakimi bid in the pipeline
The 22-year-old is being considered as a replacement for Hector Bellerin who will be allowed to leave the club in the summer.
The Spaniard was heavily linked with a move to PSG at the start of the season and it will be interesting to see where he ends up next season.
Hakimi is an exceptional young talent who would add a new dimension to the Arsenal attack along with his defensive abilities. The 22-year-old is very good going forward and he could have a similar impact on the side like Kieran Tierney.
The Scottish left-back has been outstanding for the Gunners since joining the club and he has transformed the left flank for Arteta’s side.
Arsenal have begun preparations to recruit in the right-back position this summer, with interest in Inter Milan’s Morocco international Achraf Hakimi. Should Hector Bellerin leave then the club would look to sign a first-choice right back - Hakimi or another. [@TeleFootball]
