Ollie Watkins scored the only goal of the game for the home side to secure all three points.

Arsenal goalkeeper Mat Ryan did well to deny Watkins his second goal of the game early on in the second half and then produced two more important saves to deny the hosts.
Arsenal struggled to create any clear cut opportunities and the closest they came was true Granit Xhaka’s free kick which was saved by Emiliano Martinez.
Martin Odegaard had the best chance of the game for Arsenal but he blazed over with six minutes remaining.
The win tonight leaves Aston Villa above Tottenham in the table with 35 points and Arsenal drop down to 10th with 31 points.
The Gunners have now lost two consecutive League games and they will be under tremendous pressure to turn their form around so that they can challenge for a top four finish.
