Chelsea Transfers: Pulisic linked with Barcelona, Blues submit bid for Eder Militao

Pulisic-Chelsea

Barcelona keen on Pulisic

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic is thought to be a target for Spanish giants Barcelona.

According to Spanish publication Sport, Barcelona are looking to improve their attacking options when the transfer window reopens in January and they want to strengthen the wide areas with a loan signing.

The report states that the likes of Raheem Sterling, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech have also been looked at by the Spanish club.

It will be interesting to see if they can lure Pulisic away from Stamford Bridge on a loan deal during the second half of the season.

The American International is struggling to hold down a regular starting berth at Chelsea and he needs to leave the London club in order to play regular first-team football.

The former Borussia Dortmund winger has proven his quality in the Premier League prior to this season and there is no doubt that he could be a useful player for Barcelona.

Chelsea submit offer for Militao

Meanwhile, Chelsea are looking to improve their defensive options and they are keen on signing the Real Madrid defender Eder Militao.

According to El Nacional, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel wants to convince the Brazilian defender to move to Stamford Bridge and the Blues have already offered a sum of around £34 million for the former Porto defender.

Militao has developed into one of the key players for Real Madrid since the departure of Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane.  It seems highly unlikely that the Spanish giants will let him leave anytime soon.

Real Madrid are in a good position to challenge for the Spanish league title this season and losing their best centreback midway through the season could have a damaging effect on their title aspirations.
