Smith Rowe’s heroics helped Arsenal beat Aston Villa in the Premier League.

Arsenal continued their late revival with a thumping 3-1 over Aston Villa in the Premier League.

Emile Smith Rowe was the star of the show as he scored a goal and assisted another to set up the Gunners’ victory.

Mikel Arteta’s side started this season in the worst possible way as they found themselves in the relegation zone in the opening weeks.

However, they are back on track after picking up 4 wins in the last 6 league games while suffering no defeats.

Smith Rowe has been impressive this season, racking up 3 goals and 2 assists across all competitions.

The young attacking midfielder broke into the Gunners’ first team last season and he can grow into a much-improved player given his form this term.

Against the Villans, the 21-year-old pulled the strings from the midfield, involving greatly in defence and attack. He racked up some astonishing numbers in the process and it can be argued as one of the best performances from a youngster in the Premier League this season.

Carragher lauds the heroics of Emile Smith Rowe

Former Liverpool star and football expert, Jamie Carragher, was full of praise for Smith Rowe following his impressive performance at Emirates Stadium last night.

Carragher has claimed that the young Gunner is among the best talents in the Premier League and it is only a matter of time before he gets his senior cap with the Three Lions.

Carragher said (h/t Daily Mail): “Emile Smith Rowe will get England caps, absolutely no doubt. There are so many good young players. He’ll have to bide his time, there are other young players ahead of him right now but I absolutely love that lad.

“I always want him to do well, you’re urging him on. To watch him in full flow, I’ve said he’s the best player in the Premier League running the ball. He’s so exciting, the pace, moving with the ball. He’s a special talent. He can pop up in different positions, he has that ability to play all four positions up top and that’s a real bonus.”
