Tottenham Hotspur‘s managerial search has turned into a saga now, and the latest name linked with the move to the London club is that of Nuno Espirito Santo.

The former Wolverhampton Wanderers manager is out of a job right now, and he has been heavily linked with Crystal Palace and Everton.

Spurs have his talks with several managers over the last month, but they have failed to agree on a deal with any one of the targets so far.

Recently the London club were in advanced stocks with Paulo Fonseca, but the deal to bring the former Roma manager to the Premier League seems to have collapsed.

The Londoners have been linked with Gennaro Gattuso, Antonio Conte, Mauricio Pochettino, Julian Nagelsmann, Brendan Rodgers, and Erik Ten Hag.

The club’s new sporting director Fabio Paratici wants to bring the former Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo to the club this summer. However, other figures in the club are still keen on Mauricio Pochettino.

Nuno did a decent job at Wolves during his time at Molineux, but it would be an underwhelming appointment for Tottenham.

The London club need to bring in someone who is a proven winner and can help them return to the Champions league immediately.

An appointment like Nuno might not be enough to convince the likes of Harry Kane to stay at the club this summer.

It will be interesting to see how Tottenham’s managerial search unfolds over the next few weeks now.
