Manchester City are hoping to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, and they are set to submit a bid for the 27-year-old England international after the European Championships.

According to reports, the Premier League champions will offer a take-it-or-leave-it package to the Londoners.

Apparently, the bid will be around £100 million, and it remains to be seen whether that is enough to tempt Daniel Levy into selling the striker.

Reportedly the Spurs chairman values the player at £150 million. However, Manchester City are unwilling to pay the asking price for the player because of his increasing number of injuries in recent seasons.

Kane has suffered multiple ankle injuries in recent years.

The striker is thought to be keen on an exit from Tottenham this summer because of the lack of ambition at the club, and he wants to join a club, capable of winning the major trophies.

A move to Manchester City would be ideal for him, and he would be able to fulfil his ambitions.

Former Tottenham players like Kyle Walker have managed to win several trophies since leaving the club for Manchester City. Harry Kane will be hoping to follow the same path.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can convince the 27-year-old to continue at the club beyond this summer. He is undoubtedly the best player at the club. He managed to score 23 goals and pick up 13 assists in the Premier League last season.

Kane’s departure will be a hammer blow to Tottenham’s ambitions. The Londoners will be hoping to qualify for the Champions League and challenge for trophies next year. That might not be possible without a player like Harry Kane.
