Bayern Munich picked up an 8-2 win over Barcelona in the Champions League earlier today.

The German giants absolutely destroyed the Spanish outfit from start to finish.
It will be interesting to see if Setien keeps his job after this.

The Barcelona manager was already under a lot of pressure and his side’s performance today has underlined the fact that the Spanish club need to bring in somebody better to lead the team next season.

It will be interesting to see if Bayern can go on to win the UEFA Champions League this season. They will undoubtedly be one of the favourites to do so.

Thomas Muller opened the scoring for the German side early on in the game.

Although Barcelona came back into the game almost immediately through an own goal from David Alaba, they struggle to match up with Bayern’s intensity and pressing.

Bayern took the lead once again through Perisic, who made it 2-1.

Serge Gnabry and Thomas Muller scored again to put the German side 4-1 up.

Luis Suarez did well to make it 4-2, but the Germans were rampant after that.

Kimmich scored the fifth of the Night for the German side after some fantastic dribbling from Alfonso Davies.

Substitute Philippe Coutinho set up the sixth goal of the game for Bayern Munich. Robert Lewandowski headed in from close range from the Brazilian’s cross.

The on-loan Barcelona midfielder then scored a brace to finish the game 8-2 in favour of the German side.

The Spanish giants will be absolutely devastated with the result, and it will be interesting to see how they bounce back next season.

Barcelona have been trying to win the Champions League for a while now. They have been humiliated more often than not in recent years.

The fans will now expect a strong reaction from the board, and it will be interesting to see who they bring in as their new manager for the next season.

Barcelona also need to bring in quality players to help the likes of Messi and Suarez win the top honours.
