The Elland Road club are gearing towards their return to English top-flight.

Leeds United are one of the many clubs said to be active in the transfer market following their promotion to the Premier League.

Bielsa’s future

Firstly, there are concerns over the future of Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa, whose current contract runs out this summer. The Argentine led the Whites to a historic promotion in his sophomore season at the Elland Road.

Zlatan and Cavani interest

Leeds United are planning to buy stellar strikers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani next summer, with the latter one recently opted to sign for Benfica. The Uruguayan was heavily linked with a move to Elland before Benfica signed him, offering the luxury of Champions League. In the case of Ibrahimovic, the Swedish striker is likely to continue with AC Milan after an impressive return to Serie A.

Ben White interest

The English defender remains a priority for the Whites despite the heavy competition from Premier League’s top club. Leeds have recently had a £22m rejected by Brighton for the 22-year-old. White has had an impressive loan spell at Elland Road, playing a big part in Leeds winning the Championship.

Striker targets

Leeds are planning to reinforce the attacking options as they are keeping tabs on Brentford ace Said Benrahma. Stuttgart’s Nicolas Gonzalez is another target who Leeds value around £20m.

Besides, Bielsa’s men have also been linked with Croatian left-back Borna Barisic and highly-rated Portuguese midfielder Florentino Luis.
