Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has been linked with a move away from the club recently, and it seems that the continuous transfer link has managed to turn the player’s head.
Ever since Jose Mourinho took over as the Tottenham manager, Alli’s first in place has been under threat.
He’s not a regular starter at Tottenham anymore, and the likes of PSG are thought to be keen on signing him. City rival, Arsenal are also linked with Dele Alli in very recent time.
The 24-year-old is still regarded as one of the finest young midfielders around Europe, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham decide to cash in on him this summer.
It would be wise of the Premier League club to hold on to him and be patient with him for now.
Alli is a prodigious talent with a big future ahead of him. He could still be a significant player in Tottenham’s history.
Mourinho thinks the player is distracted because of all the transfer talks and it will be interesting to see if Alli can prove him wrong.
The window closes in the next few days, and the Spurs midfielder will be looking to work hard and get back into the starting lineup if he is not sold before that.
The likes of Lo Celso are currently starting ahead of the England international at the club and Alli will have to work hard to convince the Spurs boss and regain his place in the starting lineup.
