Dortmund reach agreement with Donyell Malen

Liverpool have been linked with a move for the PSV Eindhoven attacker Donyell Malen this summer.

However, it appears that Borussia Dortmund have stolen a march on the Reds, and they have agreed on personal terms with the 22-year-old.

The German outfit are looking to sign a replacement for Jadon Sancho, who joined Manchester United, and they have identified the Dutch attacker as a potential target.

The former Arsenal forward had an impressive season with PSV last year, and he did well with his country in the European Championships as well. The 22-year-old managed to score 27 goals across all competitions, and he picked up 10 assists.

Reds keen on Nicolo Barella

Meanwhile, the Reds are looking to improve their midfield after the departure of Gini Wijnaldum, and they have identified the Inter Milan star Nicolo Barella as a target.

The 24-year-old Italian has the potential to develop into one of the best players in the world, and the Reds are prepared to pay around €70 million for his services.

Barella helped Inter Milan win the Scudetto last season, and he has helped his country win the European Championships as well.

It will be interesting to see if the Italian giants are willing to sanction his departure for the reported price this summer.

Domenico Berardi enquiry made

Barella is not the only Italian international Liverpool are looking to sign in the coming weeks, and they are expected to bid for the Sassuolo attacker Domenico Berardi.

The Premier League giants have already made an enquiry for the forward, and they are now preparing a transfer offer for him.

Berardi had an impressive season last year, and he managed to score 17 goals and provided eight assists.

The 26-year-old would be an upgrade on the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi.

The player is valued at £35 million, and it will be interesting to see if Liverpool can secure his services.
