Liverpool

Liverpool welcome relegation-threatened Norwich City to Anfield on Saturday off the back of a pulsating win over Inter Milan in the champions league.

After a one-nil win over Burnley courtesy of a 40th-minute Fabinho strike, they returned to action in the UCL taking on the champions of Italy on their turf and their victory saw the reds take home a very vital victory going to the return leg at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp’s men will aim to make it five wins in a row this month with a win over Norwich on Saturday.

They currently sit nine points behind Manchester City at the top of the summit, albeit with a game in hand. A win against Dean Smith’s men will see them keep Pep Guardiola’s boys in visible sight.

Possible Liverpool starting line-up

Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson, Thiago Alcantara, Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Sadio Mane.

Injured: None

Doubtful: None

Suspended: None

Norwich

Norwich travel to Anfield in desperate need of a win if they are to remain in the Premier League come next season.

After being held to a draw by Crystal Palace, Norwich City succumbed to a humbling defeat in the hands of a dominant Manchester City side thanks to a Raheem Sterling hat-trick.

As if the defeat against City wasn’t enough, Norwich welcome a dominant Liverpool who are Manchester City‘s closest challengers and who last tasted defeat back in December.

Dean smith’s wards will have to be at their best and hope to come away with a favourable result and an unlikely victory against Jurgen Klopp’s machine will put them just one point behind Newcastle United.

Possible Norwich starting line-up

Angus Gunn; Max Aarons, Grant Hanley, Ben Gibson, Brandon Williams; Kenny McLean, Billy Gilmour, Lees Melou; Joshua Sargent, Teemu Pukki, Milot Rashica.

Injured: Tim Krul, Jacob Sorensen, Andrew Omobamidele

Doubtful: Ozan Kabak

Suspended: None

Prediction

Liverpool 3-0 Norwich
