Manchester City are currently being linked with a summer move for Cristiano Ronaldo, and it appears that the Premier League champions are willing to offer him a contract of around €15 million per season for two years.

The 36-year-old Portuguese international is in the final year of his contract with Juventus, and the Serie A outfit are prepared to get rid of him for a fee of around €28-30 million.

As for reports Manchester City are not prepared to pay a fee for the player.

The player’s agent Jorge Mendes is set to hold talks with Juventus today regarding his client’s future, and the Portuguese super-agent has approached Manchester City to sort out a summer move.

Cristiano Ronaldo requested the Italian club not to start him against Udinese earlier because he is currently looking for transfer options. It remains to be seen whether the 36-year-old can sort out his long-term future in the remaining days of the transfer window.

The Premier League champions were initially linked with a move for the Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane. Still, the England international has confirmed that he will stay at the London club this season.

Pep Guardiola needs to bring in a quality goal scorer to replace Sergio Aguero, and Cristiano Ronaldo could prove to be a sensational addition.

There is no doubt that the finances involved in the transfer will make it a complicated move, but City certainly have the resources to pull it off in the latter stages of the window.
