Tottenham have been linked with a move for the Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.

The 25-year-old is highly rated around Europe and he could prove to be a quality signing for Jose Mourinho this summer.

The Londoners need to improve their defence before the transfer window closes. Tottenham have already conceded three goals in their opening two Premier League games this season.

It will be interesting to see if they can agree on a fee with the Italian Giants for the Slovakian defender in the coming weeks.

Skriniar has fallen out of favour at Inter Milan and he needs to leave in order to play regular first-team football. A move to Tottenham would allow him to play every week and develop as a player.

Furthermore, a world class manager like Jose Mourinho will help him fulfil his potential.

Tottenham need to replace club legend Jan Vertonghen this summer and Skriniar could be the ideal candidate.

He is only 25 and he is likely to improve a lot more with experience. Skriniar has the potential to justify his massive price tag.

Apparently Inter Milan value him at around 60 million euros.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are willing to pay the asking price for the 25-year-old defender this summer.

Tottenham have had an impressive transfer window so far and the signing of Skriniar would be the icing on the cake.
