Manchester United are interested in signing Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

The Red Devils need to improve their striking options if they want to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title next season, and Harry Kane would be a transformative signing for them.

The 27-year-old has 22 goals and 13 assists to his name in the Premier League this season, and he will improve Manchester United immensely if he joins them.

According to reports, the Red Devils are now willing to offer cash plus players in order to convince the London club to sell Harry Kane to them.

The likes of Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard could be offered to Tottenham in exchange for the England captain.

Martial has struggled to establish himself as a key player at Manchester United since his big-money move from Monaco, and it seems that the Red Devils are prepared to cut their losses on him.

Furthermore, Jesse Lingard struggled to get game time at Old Trafford during the first half of the season, and he was loaned out to West Ham United during the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old has been outstanding for the Hammers since joining the London club, but it is clear that both players are expendables for Manchester United, and it would make sense for them to move the two players on and bring in someone who can make a big difference to their starting lineup.
