Tottenham are all set to submit their first official bid for Milan Skriniar.

The Inter Milan defender has been linked with a move to the London club for weeks now.

Apparently, the Premier League side I’m looking to offer around €50 million for his services.

Inter Milan value the player at €60 million and it will be interesting to see if the two clubs can agree on a compromise.

The 25-year-old is regarded as one of the finest defensive talents around Europe right now and he could prove to be a world-class signing for Jose Mourinho.

Tottenham have lost a key defender in Jan Vertonghen this summer and Skriniar would be the ideal long term replacement.

The Premier League club have had an impressive window so far and signing a quality defender like Skriniar would be the icing on the cake for them.

Tottenham officials were in Milan earlier this week to discuss the transfer and it seems that the clubs sporting director is now working on the first official bid.

Skriniar has fallen down the pecking order at Inter Milan and he needs to leave the club in order to play regularly and fulfil his potential.

A move to Tottenham would allow him to play more often and a world-class manager like Jose Mourinho could help him grow as a player.
