Jules Kounde pursuit
Manchester United are looking to improve their defensive options in the summer and they have identified the Sevilla centre back Jules Kounde as a target.
The 22-year-old has established himself as one of the brightest young talents in European football and he would be a superb long term signing for the Red Devils.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to find an upgrade on the likes of Victor Lindelof this summer and the Frenchman would certainly be a quality addition.
Pau Torres interest
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are thought to be keen on the Villarreal defender Pau Torres as well.
The Spaniard has done exceedingly well for the Spanish club this season and his performances have caught the attention of several European clubs.
Manchester United will not be the only club looking to sign Torres this summer and it will be interesting to see if they can fend off the competition and secure his services.
The Red Devils are currently second in the Premier League table and they will have to improve defensively if they want to match up to the likes of Manchester City next season.
Signings like Torres will certainly help them close the gap with Pep Guardiola’s side in the coming years.
Hugo Lloris linked
Manchester United have also been linked with a surprise move for the Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
The Frenchman could be on his way out of the London club this summer with Spurs looking at younger alternatives.
Manchester United keeper David De Gea has not been at his best for a while now and the Spaniard has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
Lloris would be a superb short term alternative to the Spaniard and it will be interesting to see if Manchester United can sign the World Cup winner from their Premier League rivals.
