Tottenham Hotspur are still looking to find a long term replacement for Jose Mourinho, and former manager Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with a return to the London club.

According to Alasdair Gold from Football London, the Argentine manager has informed Paris Saint Germain last week that he wants to leave the club and return to Tottenham this summer.

Alasdair Gold tweets, Understand Mauricio Pochettino told PSG towards end of last week that he wanted to leave to return to Tottenham. Situation remains that Spurs have a tough job to get him away from the French club, but there's a real desire from Poch to complete his unfinished business at Spurs.

Apparently, Pochettino feels that he has unfinished business at the Premier League club, and he has a genuine desire to return to England.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can convince the French outfit to sanction Pochettino’s departure in the coming weeks.

The Argentine manager has a contract with the French club, and PSG are not keen on letting him leave just yet.

Apparently, Pochettino is unhappy at Paris Saint Germain, and his relationship with the club director Leonardo has not been ideal.

Tottenham have been linked with several managers like Antonio Conte, Julian Nagelsmann, Brendan Rodgers and Maurizio Sarri in recent months. Still, there is no doubt that Pochettino would be the perfect fit for them.

The Argentine knows the club and the players extensively, and he will be able to make an immediate impact on his return to the London club.

Furthermore, he was adored by the fans during his time at Tottenham, and his arrival could unite the fanbase as well.

Players like Dele Alli, Harry Winks and Harry Kane have been linked with moves away from the London club, and all three players were nurtured by Pochettino during his time at the club. His return could convince the players to continue at Tottenham beyond this summer.
