Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford at the end of the season.

The Frenchman has struggled to live up to the expectations since his return to Manchester United for a club-record fee but has never lived up to the high expectations of then-manager Jose Mourinho and Manchester United fans. Frequent injuries have not helped the French midfielder either.

According to reports, the World Cup winner seen as a dream signing for Juventus and Max Allegri could try to bring the player back to Turin.

The Serie A side are in desperate need of a quality central midfielder, and Pogba’s return would be outstanding for them.

Alternatively, they are keeping tabs on the Argentine midfielder Rodrigo De Paul as well.

The Manchester United midfielder has just one year left on his contract with the Red Devils, and they will be forced to cash in on him this summer if he refuses to sign an extension.

The Premier League cannot afford to lose him on a free transfer next summer, and it will be interesting to see how his future unfolds in the coming weeks.

Earlier this season, Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola claimed that the player’s time at Old Trafford is up.

The French international played some of his best football at Juventus, and a return to Italy might be able to help him regain his peak form once again.

It remains to be seen whether Juventus can afford the player this summer. He is unlikely to come cheap, and Manchester United will be looking to recoup as much as possible if they are eventually forced to sell the player.
