Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed that he is looking for a fresh challenge and he could quit club management.

The Spaniard claims that after seven years at Manchester City he is looking to manage an international team.

Guardiola has been at Manchester City since 2016 and it seems that he is prepared to continue for another couple of seasons.

He has helped City win multiple domestic trophies and he will be hoping to win the Champions League before ending his time at the Premier League club.

There is no doubt that Pep Guardiola is one of the best managers of all time and it will be interesting to see where he ends up once his time at Manchester City is up.

The Manchester City manager has revealed that his next job could be managing a South American country and he wants the experience of coaching a tournament like Copa America.

The Spaniard has certainly proven himself at the club level and he has won multiple trophies across the Spanish league, the Bundesliga and the Premier League.

It is hardly surprising that he is willing to take up a new challenge.

“Next step will be a national team, if there is a possibility. A national team is the next step,” he said at an event.

“After seven years on this team, I think I’m going to have a stop. I’m going to have to take a break, see what we’ve done. And in the process, I would like to train a South American [team], European [national side], playing a Copa América – I want to have that experience.”
