West Ham News: Ogbonna, Noble, Antonio injuries; Dembele interest

Michall Antonio-West Ham

West Ham been dealt with quite a few injury blows in the recent weeks and their players will now get some much needed time to recover during the international break.

Ogbonna, Noble, Antonio injuries

Defender Angelo Ogbonna picked up a groin injury in the second half of Saturday’s 1-0 win over Fulham and the likes of Mark Noble and Michail Antonio are sidelined with injuries as well.

Mark Noble has a rib injury and Antonio is struggling with a hamstring problem.

It will be interesting to see if all three players can recover completely during the international break and return for West Ham later this month.

The Hammers have made a reasonably good start to their season but they need their key players back firing in order to secure a respectable finish in the Premier League.

The likes of Ogbonna and Antonio are some of the best players at West Ham and the fans will be hoping that they can return to action sooner rather than later.

Dembele interest

Meanwhile, West Ham United have been linked with a move for the Lyon striker Moussa Dembele.

The former Celtic star has been outstanding for the French outfit since his move to Ligue one and he could prove to be a quality addition for the Hammers.

Sebastien Haller has failed to live up to the expectations since his move from Bundesliga and it is evident that the Hammers need to sign a quality striker.

Dembele will add pace, flair and goals to the West ham attack and it remains to be seen if the Hammers can fend off competition from Manchester United and sign the Frenchman in the coming months.
