Cristiano Ronaldo discussing his future with Sir Alex Ferguson

Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has one year left on his current contract with the Red Devils and the forward has already held discussions with the former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson regarding his future.

Apparently, the 37-year-old has had a series of private conversations with the former Red Devils manager and it will be interesting to see if he decides to move on this summer.

Manchester United are unlikely to play Champions League football next season and a player of his calibre will want to play at that level consistently.

Ronaldo has been in impressive form this season and he has scored 24 goals across all competitions despite Manchester United’s struggles.

There is no doubt that the Portuguese international is a world-class player who should be challenging for the major trophies.

The Red Devils certainly cannot provide him with that platform just yet and it would make sense for the 37-year-old to move on and join a better team next season.https://twitter.com/cr7raprhymes/status/1523000500945182722

Paul Pogba linked with Juventus return

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba will be a free agent this summer and the World Cup winner has been linked with a number of clubs recently.

The 29-year-old has had a difficult time at Old Trafford since his return from Juventus and he will look to make a fresh start at another club next season.

The midfielder has already turned down the opportunity to sign a contract extension with the Premier League giants and he is open to returning to Juventus this summer.

According to reports, the Frenchman has held talks with the Italian club regarding a return to Turin and it will be interesting to see if the two parties can finalize a contract in the coming weeks.https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1522709018229227522

Matic on Juventus’ radar

Meanwhile, Serbian international midfielder Nemanja Matic recently announced that he will leave Manchester United at the end of the season.

It appears that Juventus are keen on signing the experienced defensive midfielder.

Matic could be a quality squad player for the Italian club and it will be interesting to see if the two parties can agree on a move this summer.
