Tottenham drop points in the Premier League once again as Wolves snatch last-gasp equaliser

Tottenham were held to a 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League earlier tonight.

The London club took the lead one minute into the game after Tanguy Ndombele scored a stunning long range goal from 25 yards.

The home side fought hard to come back into the game but Hugo Lloris did exceedingly well to deny the likes of Daniel Podence more than once.

Fabio Silva came close to scoring the equaliser for Wolves as well along with Ruben Neves.

Wolverhampton Wanderers scored the leveller on the 86th minute when Pedro Neto swung the ball in from a corner and Romain Saiss flicked the ball past Hugo Lloris.

Tottenham are now up to 6th in the Premier League table with 26 points and Wolverhampton Wanderers remain 11th with 21 points.

Jose Mourinho will be demanding a lot more from his players and they will have to turn these draws into wins if they want to win the Premier League this season.

Spurs were at the top of the Premier League a few weeks ago and they have dropped points in their last four league games. They have drawn against Palace and Wolves with two defeats against Liverpool and Leicester sandwiched in between.

Meanwhile, Wolves will be hoping to challenge for European qualification this season and they will have to improve in the coming weeks as well.

Nuno has a quality team at his disposal and the players will have to be more consistent.
